West Palm Beach, FL – At their conference in August, the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) recognized Dorothy Jacks as an IAAO Fellow, an honor that acknowledges a career dedicated to appraisal excellence.
The IAAO is a professional membership organization of assessors and property tax administrators with more than 8,000 members worldwide. IAAO Fellowships are bestowed on those who spend their careers developing the appraisal profession.
“Throughout my career with the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office, the IAAO has provided resources that made our office better for the people we serve,” said Jacks. “It is an incredible honor that the IAAO has recognized my life’s work.”
Dorothy Jacks was recognized for her contributions toward educational programs, her service as a mentor to others in the appraisal industry, and her leadership at a national level, among other accomplishments.
Said Jacks, “I am proud to bring this international honor home to Palm Beach County.”
