We are unable to grant extensions at this time. Section 193.063, Florida Statutes, states in part, "A request for extension must be made in time for the property appraiser to consider the request and act on it before the regular due date of the return." We encourage you to file your late return no later than 5/1/2024 5:00:00 PM, together with a letter explaining the reason for lateness and requesting that penalties be waived. Failure to follow this procedure may result in late-filing penalties that will not be waived at a later date. Be sure to list the six-digit Tangible ID number on each return that you file. Your failure to include this account number may lead to double assessments, misidentified returns, or penalties. In an effort to “go green,” we will not be mailing blank tax return forms this year. You may download yours from our website, or pick one up at any of our offices. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 561-355-2896 or PATAngible@pbcgov.org.
